She then pursued postgraduate studies in Paris with scholarships from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the French Government. There, she obtained the second-cycle diploma from the Institute for the Study of Economic and Social Development (<em data-start=\"441\" data-end=\"497\">Institut d&#8217;\u00c9tude du D\u00e9veloppement \u00c9conomique et Social<\/em>), attended courses at the International Institute for Educational Planning (<em data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"635\">Institut International pour la Planification de l&#8217;\u00c9ducation<\/em>), and earned the Diploma of Advanced Economic Studies (<em data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"745\">Dipl\u00f4me d&#8217;\u00c9tudes Sup\u00e9rieures de Sciences \u00c9conomiques<\/em>) from the University of Paris.<\/p><p data-start=\"778\" data-end=\"1087\">She was awarded a Doctorate (<em data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"848\">Doctorat d&#8217;\u00c9tat \u00e8s Sciences \u00c9conomiques<\/em>) from the University of Paris with highest honors (<em data-start=\"900\" data-end=\"919\">mention tr\u00e8s bien<\/em>) for her dissertation titled <strong data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"997\">&#8220;The Cost of University Education in France&#8221;<\/strong>, with Professor Henri Bartoli serving as president of the doctoral examination committee.<\/p><p data-start=\"1089\" data-end=\"1457\">She has participated in international conferences on demographic issues and has published scientific studies in Greek, French, English, and Portuguese. She is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and Vice President of the Society for Demographic Studies (EDIM). Her book <strong data-start=\"1368\" data-end=\"1412\">&#8220;Problems of Migration and Repatriation&#8221;<\/strong> was awarded the <strong data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1456\">Academy of Athens Prize<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e9aa811 elementor-widget__width-auto elementor-widget
